MEMO

INTERACTIVE REMINDER TABLET FOR PEOPLE WITH ALZHEIMER DESEASE

May 2011

MEMO is both an interactive interface and an ergonomic tablet, dedicated to people with Alzheimer's disease. It has been designed in order to give them more independence, autonomy and confidence, and also relieve their caregivers from this huge daily burden.

The interface is based on a 24 hour clock that structures the day into activities or moments which need to be remembered such as a shower, pills taking, lunch and dinner. It enables them to keep in touch with their family as well through a family tree and easy ways of communication to prevent them from isolation.

The tablet comes with a luggage type frame and cushion. The photo frame makes the product more familiar. The cushion offers a comfortable way of using MEMO while sitting. A leather cover keeps everything maintained and tidy. Two handles ease the transport of the set.
